Meet Gigantoraptor
This giant 'dino-bird' is previously discovered in 2005 in the Iren Dabasu Formation, Erlian basin, in Inner Mongolia. This dinosaur is known as an oviraptorid, a type of dinosaur known to have been nesting eggs around Asia. It is considered by scientist to have been the largest feathered creature alive. Before its discovery, the largest and heaviest known oviraptorid was Citipati , which Gigantoraptor was 3 times more. Following the fossils, scientist indicated that Gigantoraptor might have been omnivorous . It shows that Gigantoraptor was large enough to take down a tyrannosaur.
